Unrequited Love and the Restraining Order. Last night together

Ok, I guess that I can now say that I've officially been part of a band. Our band (which started up in October 2007) had it's first concert in December. That was a benefit concert for the orphans in Jeonju. The money we made from that we went around to the $1 stores and bought a bunch of toys for them, then went out caroling and "Santa Claus"-ing on Christmas Day. We went through a down period in January, mainly because our drummer, Wes, was in Canada, then I was in Canada when he came back.
The weekend after I came back to Korea we had our second concert. This we had in a small little bar in the University area called Tombstone. It went well and the owner wanted us to play there every week. We politely said no. That would be too much.
Our 3rd concert was a memorable one. It was to be the grand re-opening of one of the foreigner bars, and we had put in a lot of time to redecorate the place. Unfortunately we should have put more time into working out the new sound board and practicing. That concert ended up going sour and for a short period of time we broke up.
We skipped what was to be our 4th concert and 2nd at Tombstone because of the break-up but we re-united a few weeks later and finally played our 4th concert. This time we added a bassist.
For our 5th concert, we held it at 2B1. A bar, only frequented by foreigners once a month for Quiz night, but they had something going for them... a good high quality sound system. The owner underestimated the size of the crowd that would come and ran out of draft beer and bottled beer in his fridge.
Then, we started making plans for our 6th and final concert. With the addition of 2 female singers and a bongo player, we started on an ambitious concert. A 9 song 1st set and then a 14 song second set with 2 encores and 5 new songs. We had 2 weeks to prepare so we set about it and practiced hard. The week leading up to the concert we were practicing for about 2 hrs every night.
Our 6th and last concert went great! We had about 100 people show up. Friends, students, people from our schools and churches. Plus we had a great outfit. The Blues Brother's motif, as you can see here:

Later on as the concert wore on, we got hot and had to take off the suit jackets:

Well, now our band is broken up. Our drummer is leaving for Canada at the end of June and our bassist is away on vacation. So, now the band as we know it is done. The sun has set on "Unrequited Love and the Restraining order". Maybe in 10 years or so, we might do a reunion tour, but as it is right now the Restraining Order is served and the love just isn't unrequited enough.
