Hey Dave,

That term, "Wey-gook", is interesting. Do you know if it is any relation to the perjorative "gook" used by American soldiers in Vietnam?

Gook actually means "Person". The Korean word for a Korean is Han-gook, American is Mee-gook.

the guy to the left, with the curly hair, looks alot like a guy i went to redeemer with. he was actually president for a time. is that david van mennen seated there?

just curious. it's weird to see an image of a fellow alumnus sitting at a bar in korea, that's all.

Yep that's him. He's living in Korea right now, married to a Korean woman and he is expecting a baby about 7 months from now. I'll tell him you said hi!
